We are so happy with the response to the latest retail opening at our Heart of the City development in central Sheffield.
Danish homeware brand Søstrene Grene recently opened a 5000- sq. ft. store within the £470 million regeneration scheme in which we act as development partner to Sheffield City Council.
Customers can expect to find a variety of products that promote the popular Danish concept of ‘hygge’ when one feels a state of warmth, contentment and belonging.
Andrew Davison, Project Director at Queensberry said: “The whole Queensberry team have been blown away by the response to our latest retail signing within Heart of the City.
“Many have bemoaned the retail offering in the city centre, but the overwhelming response to SøstreneGrene has shown Sheffield has more than an appetite for real quality bricks and mortar retail.
“Before the store even opened there were people queuing around the block, and if that doesn’t show confidence and enthusiasm for retail in the city then what does?”
Jonathan Cooper, CEO for Søstrene Grene UK North Ltd said: “The response to the shop has exceeded our expectations.
“We would like to say a huge thank you to everyone at Queensberry and to everyone who has helped the launch of the store be the success it has been. We look forward to seeing who joins us at Heart of the City ready to create a real buzz!”
Søstrene Grene is now open and can be found on Cambridge Street in the Heart of the City.
