Our Cultural Heart

The Our Cultural Heart initiative will create a greener, more inclusive and more productive space for Huddersfield’s residents and the wider region. This flagship project will see the total transformation of the town centre to include a 2,000 seat indoor events venue, food court, museum and gallery, new library and new multi-storey car park as well as extensive high quality public realm, outdoor performance areas and an urban park. Queensberry is working with Kirklees Council to turn the approved masterplan into a deliverable reality. Cultural Heart will complement the Council's vision of a modern-day town centre that is thriving, welcoming and family-friendly with a real sense of community.
