In response to Queensberry’s increased activity on Levelling-Up projects we are pleased to announce the appointment of senior development manager Nalin Seneviratne who will be responsible for Local Authority Partnerships. Nalin joins Queensberry from Sheffield City Council where he headed up city centre regeneration for over a decade.

Paul Sargent said:

“Queensberry, now in its 11th year, is in full growth mode and we are increasing our experience and knowledge base to accompany our increasing number of projects. We’ve recently been appointed on interesting projects in the north of England including the Cultural Heart, Huddersfield, Station Gateway, Doncaster and Freshney Place, Grimsby. I have known Nalin as a client since 2016 and always enjoyed working with him. When the opportunity arose to bring him into the company it was a no brainer. We needed to strengthen the team and given Nalin’s expertise and experience in property and construction with both the public and private sectors, he’ll make a great addition to the team.”

Nalin Seneviratne said:

“I’ve been working with Paul and the team for a number of years. Queensberry have always been very entrepreneurial in the approach to development management, bringing in a fresh and strategic viewpoint each time. I can bring a lot to the table in terms of public sector knowledge and I’m really looking forward to working on Queensberry’s key projects.”

Nalin, who has enjoyed a number of high profile roles, has previously worked for Mowlem PLC, Midas Construction, Plymouth City Council and concluded his public sector work at Sheffield as Director of City Centre Development.
