Liverpool Art Fair at Metquarter now open

Tuesday 18th June 2019

Queensberry's shopping centre Metquarter, has opened its doors to the Liverpool Art Fair and is hosting its annual art fair for the next 11 weeks.

Metquarter held a preview night ahead of the official opening and welcomed visitors from the local community as well as artists participating in the fair. The purpose-built, open gallery is open every day of the week until the 1st September and features an inspiring collection of paintings, prints, photography and sculptures. This year's Liverpool Art Fair is showcasing 150 local artists' work with prices from £20 up to £2000 so there's something for everyone.

Now in its ninth year the annual large-scale event, will welcome around 20,000 visitors over the coming weeks.

Queensberry strongly believes in supporting local business in the areas we operate and this fair is a prime example of supporting local artists with cultural and social regeneration at its heart.

Over the summer, Metquarter will also welcome independent designer clothing store, Cricket along with the re-launch of Hugo Boss to a larger store, as part of Queensberry's multi-million pound regeneration of the centre.

The Art Fair is taking place on the upper ground floor outside Everyman Cinema.
