He’s only done it again and this time he’s sealed it with a major title.

In a tense fight on Saturday at the M&S Bank Arena in Liverpool Caoimhin secured the WBA middleweight belt. It was a hard fought with his American opponent, Larios Junio, holding his own for 9 rounds until a TKO was given by the referee.

Caoimhin said:

“It was a great win on Saturday night for the WBA International title which now ranks me top 15 in the world. I had to train longer and harder than ever but all worth it for the result. Queensberry’s support was brilliant and it was great to see everyone after the fight who made the journey.”

Paul Sargent said:

“This is why we sponsored Caoimhin in the first place. We always knew he was going to be a title winner. The atmosphere in the arena was electric with loads of fans from Belfast making the short trip over the Irish sea. The result is also credit to Paul Ready, his new manager and Eddie Hearn, his new promoter. You see their belief in him. Everything has changed tonight with this win. His career has just moved to another level.”
